Committee overview, objectives and activities: 

In partnership with P.E. Department Head, Harry Bell, there is an After School Sports program for students. Sports include: Boys Flag Football and Girls Volleyball in Fall; Boys and Girls Basketball in Winter; and Tennis, Fencing and Track & Field in Spring. Parents assist as coaches.    Hillview Middle School Fall After School Sports Program Registration is done online.  Please go to Hillview sPortability.  There you will find the respective links for Fencing, Flag football and Volleyball.

After School Sports Notes, Week of March 7

Basketball

  • Today marks the final league games for 8th grade teams.  Playoffs will be next Monday/Tuesday, March 15/16. 
  • 6th/7th grade Burgess League games have concluded.  First round of Burgess league playoffs are Saturday, March 13.  Finals are March 20.  Gyms used for the games are Corte Madera, La Entrada, Woodside Elementary, Hillview, Burgess and Onetta Harris. 
  • Schedules for all three grade levels are available on the PTO website.

Tennis

  • Tennis tryouts will be held this week, March 8-11.  Varsity and Jr. Varsity teams will be formed.  There is a mandatory parent meeting (one parent per participant) either Monday or Tuesday, March 8th or 9th at 5:15pm in room M3 (next to the Hillview gym)

Track

  • Online Registration will begin soon.
  • Program will be @ Menlo School Track on Tues/Thurs beginning April 13 ending May 25.
