Learn Latin at Hillview!
You may have heard the familiar line: Latin is a dead language.

But what else have you heard? Did you know that you can significantly improve your vocabulary as well as your English writing and speaking kills even with just a year or two of Latin. Take Latin, and see what can happen:

• Increase your English vocabulary skills. Nearly 70% of English words have their roots in Latin. Even a year or two of Latin can make a difference in
• your verbal SAT score.
• Improve your writing skills. Latin has lent to English many grammatical structures which could enhance both your verbal and written skills.
• Learn about the culture and history that has given so much to our own.
• Discover how much Latin you already know. English is replete with Latin phrases and words.

Hillview has offered Latin as an after-school program for two years already. Join the group and prepare yourself to enter Latin II (or possibly Latin III)
