French at Hillview
Prepare for High School
while having fun!
French program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders

Hillview has always had a wonderful French program and we would like to continue the tradition by offering an after school program that will prepare your middle school students for high school French. The class will be created and conducted by Florence Tubiana, a native French speaker from
Paris and veteran French teacher at Menlo-Atherton.

There will be hour-long classes after school on Mondays and Thursdays  with no classes on school holidays.

Students will cover in two years the equivalent of High School French one and will be able toenter high school at level II or even level III (if they take a third year) as freshmen. Menlo-Atherton has a strong French program that covers six levels (I, II, III, IV, AP Language and Honors Literature) so your student will be able to fully benefit from this great opportunity to become fluent and to transfer at the Upper Division level in University.

BOOK TO BE USED: Bien Dit Level I by Holt, Rinehart & Winston
COST: $200 per trimester
PLACE: Hillview Room D1 Time: Mondays 3:20-4:20; Thursdays 2:10-3:10.
