Congratulations on a wonderful Winter Concert.  As we return refreshed and revived, I just wanted to thank you for your great efforts!  You all sounded marvelous!  I hope that you were as proud as I at your performance.  Bravo!

I also wanted to invite all of you to join the new Thursday morning ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra.  We will meet once a week from 7:45-8:30.  This group will perform pieces composed for a traditional orchestra with winds and brass.  It should be a lot of fun and something completely new to all of you.  Most importantly, for this to work, I would need to have a significant number of string players be able to make it.  Our first piece is the theme from "Pirates of the Carribean."  I am also looking to purchase arrangements from "Wicked" as well as determine what is possible with regards to arrangements of more standard orchestral repertoire.  If you have pieces that you would like to play, please let me know and I will research them.  Send me an e-mail if you are interested in joining this group!!
