Thank you for a wonderful, exciting year of music!  

Our Final event is the Giants National Anthem performance on Wednesday, June 16.  Hope to see many of you there!  Ticket order information and practice schedule is located on the attachments to the page listed below.

Disneyland 2010-2011:  Next year is our Disneyland tour.  !MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  The tour dates will be January 7-9, 2011.  I will need a dedicated, core group of parents to run this.  If you would like to help, please contact me.

GRAD BAND

 ALL 6,7,8 BAND MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-CEREMONY MUSIC.  

6th & 7th GRADERS PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM, POMP & CIRCUMSTANCE (PROCESSIONAL) & LEGACY MARCH (RECESSIONAL)

PIECES: Pre-Concert: Evil Ways, Hip To Be Square, Secret Agent Man, Original 13

Ceremony: Star Spangled Banner, Pomp & Circumstance, Legacy March

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE 2010

PLEASE, All musicians must attend morning rehearsals on 6/9, 6/10 & 6/11. If there are parts

you do not get, come into the music room whenever you are free and practice!!

 

Monday(B Day) 6-7 7:45-8:30AM (Open for practicing)

5th Period (Open for practicing)

6th Period – All 6-8 Band members should try to come to this

practice.

 

Tuesday (A-Day) 6-8 7:45-8:30AM (open for Practice)

5th Period (All 7th graders must come to this practice)

6th Period (Open for Practice)

 

Wednesday(A Day) 6-9 7:45-8:30AM (Rehearsal for Graduation ( EVERYONE))

5th Period (Open for Practice)

 

Thursday 6-10 7:45-8:30AM REHEARSAL FOR GRADUATION

(Everyone needed!)

 

Friday 6-11 GRADUATION & LAST DAY

7:45AM Set-up Outside

8:00-8:30 Final Rehearsal (All Musicians)

4:30 call time Wear uniform; sun glasses & hat

4:45 Performance begins

5:00 Formal Ceremony (Pomp & Circumstance)

6:45-7:00 Recessional Performed

Graduation ends
